Salary: $90,000 – $132,000 annually

What you will do

• Support 24x7 operations teams and participate in on-call rotations.
• Monitor system health, performance, latency, and capacity for Direct Access Facility (DAF) services.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Bash, or Go to reduce operational burden and increase scalability.
• Employ AI-enabled operational tools and predictive analytics to accelerate troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Act as a technical liaison between system engineers, software developers, and customer success teams.
• Lead operational readiness for new customer deployments, software releases, and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (or 4+ years of relevant experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting operational, mission, ground, or software systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in mission operations, satellite ground systems, or network operations.
• Experience with AI-powered operational tools, ML-assisted analytics, or generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps workflows, and containerized applications.
