What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve complex application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for various systems and users.
• Provide 24/7 on-call rotational support for production application services.
• Monitor system uptime and downtime, implementing strategies to improve availability and performance.
• Manage technical incidents and provide detailed reports through to final resolution.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure software projects are correctly implemented and updated.
• Oversee the operational integrity, security, and recovery of infrastructure tools and systems.

Requirements

• Strong technical experience with Windows/Linux and multi-tier web applications.
• Proficiency with middleware (web/app servers, containers, message queues), databases, and networking.
• Familiarity with Public & Private Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and VMware virtualized environments.
• Knowledge of source control management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of application architecture; knowledge of Java, .NET, or Python is preferred.
• Location: Must be based in Westlake, Texas

Nice to have

• Experience with Networking architecture (F5, haproxy).
• Strong affinity for automating repetitive tasks to reduce outages.
