What you will do

• Own final timing closure and timing sign-off for ASIC, performing quality checks across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) corners.
• Author, validate, and maintain SDC constraints for functional and test modes (Scan, MBIST, ATPG).
• Incorporate foundry sign-off corners, margins, and derates into STA flows and methodologies.
• Run and manage MMMC analysis across hundreds of timing scenarios to ensure reliability across operating environments.
• Automate, generate, and implement timing ECOs to fix setup, hold, and transition violations.
• Use Tcl (primary) plus Python and Perl to automate analysis flows and data mining; collaborate with RTL, Physical Design, and DFT teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in ASIC STA, including timing constraints development and timing closure using Cadence or Synopsys tools.
• Experience driving timing closure using on-chip variation derates and optimizing multi-mode multi-corner constraints.
• Strong scripting skills in Tcl and Python, plus experience with Perl (or Shell).
• Expert proficiency with industry-standard sign-off tools and strong problem-solving with clear technical communication.
