Hardware Validation (Test Solutions) Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $129,100–$191,030 per annum, plus bonus and equity plan eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop ATE test solutions, detailed test plans, experiments, and analyses for custom semiconductor products.
• Validate product yield, performance, and reliability across application conditions, IP capabilities, timing margins, and process specifications.
• Use DFT solutions to explore operating space, identify failure points, and characterize manufacturing variations.
• Establish test margins to protect product yields and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with customers, design, DFT, operations, and reliability teams to define coverage requirements and translate DFT requirements into test programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor development and/or product characterization.
• Experience with hardware validation and circuit characterization.
• Knowledge of VLSI concepts, design-for-test methodology, statistics, and data analysis.
• Programming experience with Perl, Python, R, or related languages in a Linux environment.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and strong technical communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
