Learning and Development Manager (Learning and Development)

What you will do

• Deliver, coordinate, and continuously improve learning, development, skills, and competency initiatives across the UK business.
• Manage a small learning and development team across two main sites.
• Own the UK learning and development strategy, plan, and skills and competency frameworks for blue-collar, site-based, and office employees.
• Maintain role profiles, competency matrices, assessment processes, compliance reporting, and workforce planning activities.
• Support bids and tenders with workforce capability data, training programmes, competency assurance information, and social-value commitments.
• Represent hirify.global at learning and development forums, professional bodies, educational institutions, apprenticeship networks, and industry events.

Requirements

• CIPD Level 5 or above, or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience in learning and development.
• Experience managing competency frameworks and supporting operational or site-based workforces.
• Experience with learning management systems.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup connected with the Aberdeen and Warrington sites.
