Sr. FP&A Analyst

TL;DR

Sr. FP&A Analyst (FP&A): Supporting corporate FP&A activities by preparing monthly financial packages and board reporting materials with an accent on consolidated financial analysis, forecasting/budget comparisons, and profit/operations reviews. Focus on driving accurate, timely insights that help control actual results versus budgets and forecasts in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Scottsdale, AZ, US (Onsite 5 days a week)

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages for corporate requirements.
• Analyze consolidated company financial data and build board reporting packages.
• Implement or direct changes, corrections, and new programs related to financial operations.
• Support Director FP&A processes for business plans and forecasts, budget comparisons, profit analyses, operations reviews, and capital appropriation requests.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related business field.
• Experience applying forecasting and analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information to produce insights for controlling actual results vs. budgets/forecasts.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
