What you will do

• Own the end-to-end close lifecycle for San Jose operations, driving accuracy and efficiency across journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Build and manage the annual operating plan (AOP) and lead quarterly rolling re-forecast cycles using trading volumes, crypto market conditions, macro environment, and business unit updates.
• Serve as primary financial author for investor materials, including investor presentations, management roadshow decks, and financial narrative sections of S-1/F-1 registration statements.
• Develop and maintain investor-grade financial models and support investor engagement, including sell-side analyst and institutional investor relationships.
• Act as finance business partner to major business units: manage OpEx and investment review processes, provide go/no-go financial analysis for market entries, product launches, M&A, and partnerships.
• Build FP&A infrastructure and team: implement Anaplan/NetSuite/warehouse/Looker stack, design KPI framework, and produce board and executive financial reporting.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior FP&A or strategic finance role (10-year performers encouraged).
• Capital markets exposure, including participation in or support for IPO/pre-IPO processes or investor-facing finance roles at public or late-stage companies; ability to author financial content for institutional investors.
• Investment banking or strategy consulting background (ideally 2–4 years) with strong financial modeling and investor presentation skills.
• Strong hands-on FP&A/strategic finance experience across budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and board-level financial reporting.
• Fintech or crypto domain knowledge, including understanding of digital asset revenue models (e.g., transaction fees, staking, custody, stablecoins).
• Proficiency with FP&A tools and data: Anaplan, NetSuite, and SQL (hands-on experience required).
