What you will do

• Lead the modernization of clinical software platforms utilizing .NET, Java, AWS, and Oracle databases.
• Define and execute technical strategies to improve platform scalability, reliability, performance, and delivery speed.
• Oversee multiple engineering teams and manage contractor capacity, supporting 60–70 engineering resources.
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.
• Establish platform reliability and observability through effective monitoring and system health metrics.
• Partner with Product Management and business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with customer priorities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership of large-scale engineering organizations.
• Strong technical background in Java, .NET/C#, Oracle databases, and full-stack development.
• Proven experience leading platform modernization and DevOps transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with medical device software, healthcare technology, or other highly regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be based in Canada.
