TL;DR

Business Affairs Manager (IoT): Supporting sales and business development teams on the drafting, negotiation, and execution of revenue-impacting contracts with an accent on risk identification and process optimization. Focus on managing complex contractual workflows, collaborating with legal stakeholders, and leveraging AI tools to drive continuous improvement.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Oakville or Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid model).

Salary: $85,500–$105,600 CAD

What you will do

  • Draft, negotiate, and execute various revenue-impacting contract agreements, amendments, and notices.
  • Identify risks and gaps in contracts based on standard operating procedures and solution offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal Legal teams and external partners to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Manage projects related to revenue-impacting contract compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide status reports on delivery time-frames and highlight potential roadblocks.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and fulfill departmental documentation requirements.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical competence with Google Suite, CRM tools (Salesforce), and JIRA.
  • Extensive experience using AI tools to develop workflows and create efficiencies.
  • Ability to lead meetings and projects while working independently or collaboratively.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and possess a valid passport for travel.

  • Experience in sales or sales support roles.
  • Background working within a technical or engineering organization.
  • Knowledge of the high-technology industry.
