TL;DR

IT Support Specialist (System Engineering): Responsible for IT services and operations supporting DeepL employees in Austin, TX and providing remote global support with an accent on first line IT support, hardware management, and office connectivity. Focus on resolving local IT issues, collaborating internationally, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX, USA with onsite presence required 4 days a week

What you will do

  • Provide first line IT support, managing ticketing, triage, and escalations.
  • Manage employee hardware and device provisioning efficiently.
  • Ensure office IT and AV connectivity is fit for purpose.
  • Support onboarding and off-boarding tech provisioning and training for US employees.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams and third-party providers.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvements using emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Must be physically onsite in Austin, TX 4 days per week.
  • 5+ years experience in IT support or operations, preferably in tech/software companies.
  • Experience with AI tools and security maturity.
  • Hands-on with Windows, macOS, Linux, MDM tools (JAMF, Intune), and ticketing systems.
  • Strong IT security knowledge and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones.
