What you will do

• Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture roadmap and reference architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Architect secure solutions across Azure/AWS, applications, data, and networks, ensuring adherence to security best practices.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, privacy, and internal policy requirements, including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
• Lead threat modeling and architectural risk assessments for critical systems and new initiatives.
• Serve as a senior advisor to IT and business leaders on secure architecture and emerging threats.
• Mentor engineering and security staff to promote security-by-design across the organization.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in architecture-level roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering; Masters preferred.
• Active CISSP and TOGAF (or equivalent enterprise architecture) certifications.
• Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
• Ability to obtain Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B).
• Deep expertise in cloud security (Azure/AWS/GCP) and authentication/authorization models (OAuth2, SAML, OIDC).

Nice to have

• Practical experience implementing Zero Trust concepts and SSE/SASE models.
• Familiarity with supply chain security (SLSA) and container security.
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell or Python for security automation.
• Advanced knowledge of HSM design and envelope encryption patterns.
