SharePoint Architect, Professional Services (SharePoint)

Location: Remote from Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary, Canada; ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Salary: CAD 120,800–151,000 annually, plus 14% target incentives.

What you will do

• Design and deliver SharePoint solutions aligned with client requirements and timelines.
• Act as the technical authority for SharePoint upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancements, administration, policy development, and user training.
• Facilitate technical workshops and advise enterprise and public sector clients on complex technology and service deployments.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, vendor representatives, architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver solutions under contract SLAs.
• Mentor consultants, engineers, and technicians while supporting technical events and speaking engagements.
• Stay current with SharePoint trends and improve delivery, adoption, troubleshooting, and problem-solving practices.

Requirements

• Computer Science or Information Technology degree, diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience in client-facing professional services, including at least 3 years in an architect role.
• Proven consulting experience in a similar role.
• Updated certifications or training in Microsoft Teams administration (MS-700), Microsoft 365 administration (MS-102), Cybersecurity Architecture (SC-100), Identity and Access Administration (SC-300), and Information Security Administration (SC-401).
• Experience with Sharegate, Quest ODM, and SPMT.
• Strong customer relationship, problem-solving, communication, and responsiveness skills.
