What you will do

• Recruit, onboard, and manage global editorial teams, setting clear expectations and success criteria.
• Provide strategic guidance and operational support to ensure the delivery of journal objectives.
• Identify new opportunities within the Health Sciences portfolio and support further title launches.
• Contribute directly as an Editor to one or more journals in the Advanced portfolio.
• Provide structured reporting on progress, risks, and the overall impact of the Health Sciences expansion.

Requirements

• PhD in a health-related field.
• Significant journal publishing experience with a track record of developing high-profile journals or leading flagship launches.
• Proven experience managing complex stakeholder relationships with Editors.
• Deep understanding of peer-review processes, editorial governance, ethics, and integrity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to operate at senior academic and internal levels.
