TL;DR

Principal Product Marketing Manager (AI): Leading the strategic repositioning of an internal communication platform with an accent on AI-driven product narratives, competitive strategy, and commercialization. Focus on influencing product roadmap, driving GTM execution, and bridging the gap between complex technical capabilities and buyer value.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Toronto, Canada (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

Salary: $175,000–$200,000+ CAD

What you will do

  • Drive the evolution of product positioning and messaging architecture from a point solution to an intelligent platform.
  • Act as a core member of the product team to shape strategy, feature prioritization, and market-driven packaging.
  • Build and manage a comprehensive competitive program, including battlecards and win/loss analysis.
  • Own the GTM layer for product launches and commercialize existing flagship AI capabilities.
  • Partner with sales and CS teams to create high-impact enablement content focused on buyer pain points.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders across product, design, and marketing without direct authority.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing within mid-market or enterprise sales-led environments.
  • Proven track record of leading a major repositioning project (e.g., point solution to platform).
  • Deep expertise in positioning craft and competitive strategy with a portfolio of sales-facing assets.
  • Experience marketing AI capabilities with a focus on narrative and sequencing rather than buzzwords.
  • Ability to operate autonomously at a strategic level and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Must be able to work from the Toronto office 3 days per week.

  • Exposure to internal communications, employee experience, or HR tech markets.
  • Experience with pricing and packaging strategy.
