Compensation: $152,000–$190,000/yr (Denver/major metros) or $184,000–$230,000/yr (San Francisco, Seattle, New York).

What you will do

• Own the investment strategy and long-term direction for tax compliance systems.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Legal teams to identify friction points and build scalable solutions.
• Prototype and ship AI-enabled tools to automate complex tax filing processes.
• Make deliberate prioritization tradeoffs to ensure compliance and system reliability.
• Drive leverage by building internal platforms that empower Operations and Compliance teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on product management experience, specifically with internal platforms or operational systems.
• Proven track record of building automation and tooling that removes manual work.
• Strong technical fluency and experience working within complex codebases.
• Experience in a compliance-driven or highly regulated domain (e.g., fintech, banking, insurance, healthcare).
• Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools.
• Ability to define direction and sequence work in ambiguous environments.
