What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues across precision stages, handlers, and structural frames.
• Perform in-depth investigations including tolerance stack-up, thermal drift, and fatigue analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret motion profiles and mechanical-control coupling effects.
• Work with Development & Engineering to validate structural design changes and corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve mechanical documentation, assembly sequences, and diagnostic workflows.
• Lead experiments and data analysis to ensure factory output stability and reduce issue recurrence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Precision Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in precision machinery design or mechanical failure analysis.
• Proficiency in reading 3D CAD models and detailed mechanical drawings (NX/SolidWorks).
• Strong knowledge of tolerance stack-up, GD&T, and motion mechanics.
• Analytical mindset for system-level mechanical troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work onsite in Linkou, Taiwan.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor equipment or high-precision robotics.
• Hands-on experience with alignment processes and mechanical measurement instruments.
• Familiarity with ECN processes, FMEA, and structured root cause analysis.
• Ability to design and execute controlled experiments for hypothesis validation.
