Production Manager

Location: On-site in Hsinchu, Hsinchu County, Taiwan

What you will do

• Manage daily production operations, production planning, and material management for the Taiwan factory.
• Drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and materials management.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency and identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity gains.
• Plan capacity, headcount, overtime, factory expenses, and fiscal budgets.
• Coach and develop direct reports through the Performance and Development Process.
• Communicate requirements across teams to achieve operational and business objectives.

Requirements

• Technical college or university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Long-standing experience in production or factory management.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental management.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and experience with certification audits.
• Experience with Kaizen, continuous improvement, and 5S activities.
• Good English conversation and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Engineering skills.
• Hazardous materials engineering experience.
• Mechatronics or factory automation knowledge.
