What you will do

• Prepare and consolidate annual budgets and operational plans across business areas, supporting objectives and resource allocation.
• Prepare, monitor, and revise forecasts; analyze financial performance and variances (actual vs budget/forecast).
• Conduct detailed analysis of sales and market trends, product/customer/territory profitability, and cost of sales components (returns, discounts, provisions).
• Produce monthly management reports for local and European finance teams and support month-end closing with financial controls.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting/tax/capital market regulations.
• Develop financial dashboards and analytical tools; support audit processes and finance process improvement projects.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting roles (preferably in publishing, media, or distribution).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (local GAAP and IFRS) and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP SAP/S4H and planning/reporting tools (e.g., HFM, Anaplan); JDE is an advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and Spanish.
• Hybrid role based in Madrid.
