What you will do

• Provide expert health, safety, quality, and environmental advice to site staff and the management team.
• Manage and mentor HSQE Advisors and oversee the production of HSQE-specific KPI information.
• Monitor the effectiveness of the business management system to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Undertake task analysis of risk assessments and method statements, ensuring unsafe works are stopped and resolved.
• Liaise with regulatory and enforcement bodies and lead Level 2 investigations.
• Prepare and deliver workforce engagement sessions, including toolbox talks and awareness training.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to commute to Swatragh
• NEBOSH Construction Level 3 – Level 6 (or equivalent).
• IOSH Membership (Grad or Chartered) and IEMA Practitioner membership (or equivalent).
• Valid Driving Licence and Mental Health First Aider certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and HSQE-specific IT systems.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.

Nice to have

• CSCS, EUSR, or PTS certifications.
• Industrial knowledge across infrastructure services and basics of management systems.
• Experience with site inspections, risk assessment, and reviewing CDM documentation.
• Knowledge of sustainability and carbon capture.
