Salary: £70,000–£75,000 per annum

What you will do
- Own and continuously optimise the product backlog for a high-performing Agile engineering team.
- Translate strategic product objectives into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Prioritise work based on customer value, business objectives, technical dependencies, and delivery capacity.
- Partner closely with Software Engineers, Architects, UX, and Delivery Managers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Balance the delivery of new features alongside technical debt, platform improvements, and non-functional requirements.
- Use customer feedback and data to drive informed product decisions.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to Preston, UK for 3 days per week.
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, or Senior Business Analyst in complex software environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, Scrum, and modern software development practices.
- Experience managing and prioritising complex product backlogs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business objectives into clear technical requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Background in enterprise software platforms.
- Knowledge of API-driven products and systems integration.
- Experience with large-scale digital transformation programmes.
