TL;DR

IT Service Desk Technician Level 1 (System Engineering): Providing L1/L2 technical support for hardware, software, and office infrastructure across international locations with an accent on user experience and process efficiency. Focus on managing laptop inventory, troubleshooting A/V and networking equipment, and administering enterprise platforms like M365 and Google Workspace.

Location: Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid: 3-4 days on-site in London, occasional travel to Paris).

Salary: £35,000 per annum.

What you will do

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for users in London and Paris offices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues including laptops, printers, and A/V equipment.
  • Manage laptop inventory, including setup, storage, and dispatching.
  • Administer company-wide systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, InTune, and Kandji.
  • Maintain tidy and functional desk cabling and server room environments.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to IT support processes.

Requirements

  • Must have right to work in the UK (no long-term sponsorship available).
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd line support within Microsoft, Apple, and Google environments.
  • Proficiency in Windows and MacOS hardware and OS troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration.
  • Experience with office networking technologies and meeting room A/V systems.
  • Ability to work on-site in London 3-4 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing users in Entra ID, InTune, or Kandji.
  • Familiarity with IT helpdesk ticketing systems like Freshservice.
