Sr. EHS Specialist (EHS)

Location: Shanghai, China; frequent travel within China is required.

What you will do

• Partner with site and customer support managers to implement EHS strategies, systems, programs, and procedures.
• Support safe working practices at customer locations and local offices, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and field factory activities.
• Monitor compliance with local legal requirements, customer requirements, and worldwide customer support EHS policies.
• Plan and conduct customer site audits, maintain safety data, and manage the ISO 45001 system.
• Coordinate emergency response, accident, incident, and near-miss processes.
• Lead safety review board meetings, coordinate escalations, deliver safety training, and track implementation of new safety requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 10+ years of experience in occupational safety and health, including EHS experience in high-tech operations or field environments.
• National Certified Safety Professional certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and project management skills.
• Fluent working communication in both English and Chinese, verbally and in writing, is required.
• Flexibility for frequent travel within China is required.
