What you will do

• Lead institutional bids for ESA, DLR, EC, and other governmental bodies.
• Manage institutional projects and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• Ensure all tender deadlines and project milestones are met according to plan.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Perform concept studies and technical trade-offs.
• Create and manage high-quality project and technical documentation to ensure grant and project success.

Requirements

• Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a bid or project manager, including external stakeholder management.
• At least 2 years of experience in an institutional environment.
• Strong proficiency in both English and German.
• Technical affinity with a solid understanding of rocketry and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Ottobrunn, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Young Graduate Trainee at ESA or another European institution.
• Experience in the design of mechanical systems.
