What you will do

• Manage the full contract lifecycle during project execution and warranty phases, including drafting amendments and renewals.
• Lead change management by reviewing change orders, claims, back charges, and defending against incoming claims.
• Track contractual obligations, monitor milestones, and ensure timely issuance of notifications.
• Act as the primary focal point for contract provisions, conducting initial reviews and induction meetings.
• Collaborate with corporate functions such as finance, legal, and compliance to resolve disputes.
• Negotiate subcontractor agreements and implement back-to-back conditions in an international environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in law or business administration.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Contract Manager.
• Proven knowledge of EPCI contracts and experience with FIDIC, NEC, or World Bank Terms.
• Experience in managing and mitigating project risks and negotiating subcontractor agreements.
• Proficiency in German and English (C1 level or higher).
• Must be based in or able to work from Düsseldorf or Berlin.
