Operations Manager (Electronics Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Escondido, California, Monday–Friday

Salary: $125,000–$142,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, and electronic assembly operations.
• Set production schedules, staffing plans, resource allocation, and operational strategies.
• Monitor throughput, labor productivity, scrap, downtime, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Optimize receiving, storage, material flow, shipping, freight, and fulfillment activities.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance on new product introductions, process improvements, and equipment reliability.
• Lead and develop a team of 15+ direct reports while promoting safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or related environments.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing production, warehouse, or multifunctional operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, order fulfillment, ERP/WMS, and end-to-end operations.
• Working knowledge of electronics manufacturing, electronic assembly, testing, quality control, electromechanical products, schematics, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to work onsite at the Escondido, California office and manufacturing facility.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Advanced ERP/WMS experience.
• Experience with electronic, electromechanical, IoT, water technology, or connected-device manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PCB assemblies, sensors, controllers, low-voltage electronics, ESD controls, failure analysis, and electronic quality systems.
• Experience supporting NPI for electronic or smart-device products.
