TL;DR
Sales Leader (EdTech): Building and scaling the first sales function and go-to-market strategy for a K-12 Plan, Teach, Assess platform with an accent on repeatable sales motions and pipeline development. Focus on owning the full sales cycle with school districts and establishing GTM infrastructure from the ground up.
Location: Hybrid (New York City / Remote)
Compensation: $90,000–$200,000 + OTE & meaningful ownership

What you will do
- Own the full sales cycle with schools and districts, from the first conversation to the signed contract.
- Develop and implement a repeatable sales motion to scale demand without founder involvement in every call.
- Build the sales infrastructure from scratch, including CRM hygiene, outreach, qualification, and pricing processes.
- Manage complex district procurement cycles, including budget cycles, RFQs, and vendor registrations.
- Align field feedback with product positioning and the development roadmap in collaboration with founders.
- Create the sales playbook and onboarding processes to lay the groundwork for future hires.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
- Proven experience in B2B or B2G sales cycles.
- Strong ability to operate autonomously in an environment without an existing playbook.
- Genuine passion for education and improving the lives of educators.
- Operator mindset with the ability to both design and execute a process.
