Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic and operational sourcing plans for powertrain systems.
• Source and evaluate global suppliers to build a resilient supply base tailored to hybrid requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and complex commercial terms to optimize value, quality, and delivery.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, resolving critical supply chain bottlenecks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing to keep programs on track.
• Build customized data trackers, KPIs, and dashboards from scratch to monitor commodity spend.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or procurement, ideally in automotive or heavy manufacturing.
• Expert proficiency in Google Sheets and advanced Excel, with the ability to build complex tracking models.
• Strong understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO) and end-to-end procurement operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from Garden Grove, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience specifically with Engines, Electric Drive Units (EDU), or Powertrain systems.
• Background working in early-stage, high-growth startup environments.
• Professional certifications such as APICS, CPSM, or PMP.
