What you will do

  • Lead the Sales Compensation Design process and drive strategic C-level discussions with the CRO, CFO, CPO, and COO.
  • Architect compensation metrics tailored for developer-first and AI-native business models, focusing on consumption, adoption, and platform attach.
  • Build an internal AI Compensation Design Framework and Application to accelerate plan modeling and payout forecasting.
  • Utilize AI-driven analytics to track ROI and move from lagging reporting to predictive measurement of plan effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, IT, and Product to deploy GTM strategies and manage change.
  • Develop a 3-year strategic roadmap for the Sales Compensation Design function.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Sales Compensation Design within a fast-paced tech company or management consulting.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and ability to direct the build of AI-powered internal applications.
  • Proven experience influencing C-level executives and owning the decision narrative for Executive Steering Committees.
  • Strong analytical skills for architecting metrics for emerging consumption-based business models.
  • Bachelor's degree.
