Sr. Director, CTO FP&A (AI)

Location: United States of America; flexible hybrid work with occasional in-person events or team sessions.

Salary: $150,015–$326,390 per year, plus potential bonus, commissions, and equity incentives.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning and analysis for the Central Technology Organization, including forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and executive presentations.
• Advise the CTO and engineering leaders on resource allocation, technology metrics, cloud infrastructure, software licensing, organizational design, and cost efficiency.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual technology P&L reviews and oversee cost budgets across the Central Technology Office.
• Develop financial projections using operational data, market trends, and business dynamics.
• Promote AI-enabled analytics and predictive modeling to automate variance reconciliation, improve month-end reporting, and increase forecast accuracy.
• Assess ROI and total cost of ownership for product development, generative AI infrastructure, model training and inference, cloud optimization, software, and high-performance computing investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of related finance experience and 5+ years of management experience.
• Experience in FP&A or financial operations focused on technology and cloud services.
• Strong understanding of cloud-service business models, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• Advanced analytical, quantitative, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, Google Sheets, reporting, data visualization, and AI-assisted productivity or analytical tools.
