Senior Director, Strategic Finance (Fintech)

Location: Remote US

Salary: $225,000–$300,000 base salary annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the company’s financial plan and provide financial and operational decision support to cross-functional partners.
• Own financial planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and performance-to-plan processes.
• Develop company-level KPIs, variance analyses, and corporate reporting for the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
• Implement financial controls and improve processes supporting a complex, rapidly scaling business.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of accounting and planning tools, including NetSuite and Pigment.
• Lead strategic analyses related to unit economics, customer acquisition, operations, business expansion, and new opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Finance.
• Experience building and leading finance teams.
• Advanced Excel skills and extensive experience developing financial models and quantitative analyses.
• Expertise in building processes within enterprise financial planning systems such as Adaptive or Anaplan.
• Strong understanding of valuation methods and working knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking, attention to detail, and project ownership skills.

Nice to have

• At least three years of experience at publicly traded or late-stage pre-IPO companies.
• Investment banking, private equity, or growth equity experience.
