Finance Business Partner (SaaS)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $111,000–$139,000 annual base salary; additional bonus eligibility may apply.

What you will do

• Partner with functional leaders and business stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, performance management, pricing, deal structuring, and cost optimization.
• Own P&L analysis, profitability trends, variance reviews, financial dashboards, and performance commentary for assigned business areas.
• Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, cash flow forecasting, liquidity analysis, and ad hoc business analysis.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reporting, management reporting packages, board-ready presentations, close support, reconciliations, and internal control activities.
• Support headcount planning, compensation analysis, M&A due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Use NetSuite, JustPerform, AI-powered tools, and other financial platforms to improve reporting efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or finance business partnering, including ownership of comprehensive P&L analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to independently build, maintain, and communicate complex models.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, GAAP accounting principles, business finance, and analytical methods.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting or planning tools; NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, and a demonstrated record of independent execution and ownership.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering within a SaaS or software company.
• Experience with private equity-backed companies, PE reporting, headcount planning, cost optimization, or M&A financial analysis.
• CPA or MBA, and experience coaching or mentoring junior finance professionals.
• Experience with Anaplan, JustPerform, Adaptive Insights, or comparable EPM and financial planning platforms.
• Experience using AI tools in financial analysis and modeling workflows.
