What you will do

• Develop and manage work control packages following LANL planning and control processes.
• Coordinate scoping, sequencing, and authorization with engineering, maintenance, operations, and safety teams.
• Identify hazards and implement controls in compliance with IWM and ISMS requirements.
• Ensure work packages contain accurate task descriptions, procedures, permits, and resource allocations.
• Support safe execution through participation in work reviews and pre-job briefings.
• Track work progress and resolve planning issues to ensure efficiency.

Requirements

• DOE Q security clearance or the ability to obtain one (active clearance highly preferred).
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in work planning or maintenance planning within nuclear, DOE/NNSA, or heavy industrial environments.
• Must be able to work onsite at LANL in Los Alamos, NM.
• Ability to support rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holiday coverage.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working within LANL or other DOE/NNSA facilities.
• Familiarity with CMMS, work control software, or integrated scheduling tools.
• Experience planning work in high-hazard or highly regulated environments.
