Salary: $210,000–$234,000

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of six engineers, managing hiring and performance development.
• Define team goals and technical roadmaps aligned with company priorities.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical production services.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical requirements.
• Drive engineering best practices, including design reviews, code quality, and observability.
• Build feedback loops with internal developer-customers to prioritize and eliminate friction.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person or eligible for export control authorization (ITAR/EAR compliance).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years in a management role.
• Direct experience managing platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE teams.
• Strong technical background in distributed systems, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
• Proven track record of supporting production systems with defined SLOs and incident response.
• Experience treating internal platforms as products with a focus on developer experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Bazel or large-scale monorepo build systems.
• Experience leading data engineering or data platform initiatives.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare, Artifactory, IAM/Okta, or Grafana-based observability.
• Experience in aerospace, satellite operations, or high-reliability domains.
