What you will do

• Review private equity financial data and load it into internal accounting systems.
• Set up, prepare, and review consolidations using investment structure consolidation rules.
• Process fund expense payments, book journal entries for cash payments and accruals, and prepare third-party reconciliations of investments and cash.
• Calculate and prepare capital call and distribution notices, including fee schedules (management fees and carried interest) aligned with fund documents.
• Prepare investor allocations for each NAV cycle and ensure capital transactions and P&L allocations are booked correctly.
• Produce NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables per service level agreements, while collaborating with clients, banks, auditors, and third parties.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education (finance or accounting preferred).
• Some years of fund administration experience, including experience managing staff (e.g., administrators, investment managers, or fund auditors).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth understanding of fund administration, including multiple fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments, and review of fund offering documentation.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• Experience with fund accounting software (Geneva, Investran, or Yardi) is an asset.
