What you will do

• Establish and manage ACM relationships with external managers, including new product development, coordination with external sales professionals, and sourcing/diligence/origination of alternative investment offerings.
• Act as an alternative investment strategist by developing insight into private market trends and providing input to the GS Wealth house view.
• Contribute to ACM sales strategy across client segments, including growth strategies for new offerings and segment-specific fundraising strategies.
• Lead marketing efforts for alternative investment offerings (buyout) across client segments and regions, including fund-raising activity, collateral/pitch development, and organizing roadshows/events/campaigns.
• Lead client portfolio reviews with alternative portfolio analysis, implementation guidance, performance attribution, and fund commentary.
• Drive education on alternative investment themes and portfolio implementation by coordinating across ACM, GS CIO, GS investment teams, and external managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments.
• 3+ years of experience in wealth management, asset management, investment banking, or private equity.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage the investor lifecycle.
• SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 must be obtained within 3 months.
