What you will do

• Lead and mentor engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Define the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for internal developer platforms and tooling.
• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to implement paved paths, shared libraries, and best practices.
• Measure and improve developer productivity using DORA metrics and CI/CD cycle time analysis.
• Manage technical debt strategically while balancing near-term delivery with long-term maintainability.
• Foster the effective use of AI and automation to reduce toil and improve delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience with 5+ years in technical leadership and managing teams of 5+ engineers.
• Must be based in the US.
• Strong experience with Amazon AWS (EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, SQS, Lambda) and containerized microservices.
• Proficiency in at least one language: GoLang, C#, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Expertise in observability practices using Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry.
