Program Manager II, Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA (must be within 30 miles and visit office 2-3 times a week)

Salary: $100,000 - $145,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with platform, cloud, and sensor core teams to drive deliverables, resources, and timelines.
• Facilitate operational decision-making to resolve architectural challenges and infrastructure dependencies.
• Create and manage operational schedules for sensor foundations activities.
• Collaborate with worldwide business units (SREs, Product Management) to align goals and expectations.
• Develop AI-powered dashboards and automated reporting systems using Claude and agentic workflows.
• Build AI agents to identify process bottlenecks and resource scaling opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex platform engineering and infrastructure programs (100+ engineers).
• Proficiency in Jira and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and prompt engineering.
• Ability to perform light development in Python or Go for AI automation scripts.
• Experience managing distributed engineering teams across different timezones.
• Deep familiarity with build systems, cloud architecture, and system reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience building platform engineering tools or infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI deployment in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of sensor technologies and distributed systems reliability engineering.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
