Technical Program Manager, IT & Security

Location: 100% onsite at hirify.global's headquarters in El Segundo, California, United States. Travel up to 15%, with increased travel during site activation windows. Extended hours and weekends may be required.

Salary: $133,500–$190,050 annually, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global is a startup developing portable, factory-built nuclear microreactors for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases.

What you will do

• Build the system of record, tooling, operating cadence, and reporting for IT and security programs.
• Coordinate status meetings and cross-functional reviews with facilities, construction, engineering, and external partners.
• Maintain integrated schedules, dependencies, risks, milestones, and escalation paths across eight concurrent programs.
• Sequence IT infrastructure work with construction milestones, including cabling, MDF/IDF, low-voltage systems, access control, cameras, wireless, and carrier circuits.
• Track CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 compliance milestones, POA&M status, remediation, evidence collection, and assessor coordination.
• Produce network diagrams, architecture documentation, project charters, status reports, and executive summaries.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical program or project management experience, including infrastructure and security programs.
• Experience delivering IT infrastructure into new construction, facility buildouts, manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, or multi-site commercial environments.
• Ability to read construction schedules and coordinate IT work with facilities project managers and general contractors.
• Hands-on experience administering Atlassian tooling, including Jira projects, workflows, dashboards, and Confluence spaces.
• Ability to read and produce network diagrams and discuss infrastructure and security concepts in architecture reviews.
• Experience in regulated environments such as nuclear, defense, aerospace, life sciences, or similar, with strong written communication and follow-through.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, or FedRAMP.
• Experience in DOE, national laboratory, or ITAR-controlled environments.
• Exposure to OT and IT convergence in manufacturing or plant settings.
• Site decommissioning, IT asset disposition, or PMP experience.
