Location: Must be based in or able to work from the London or Bristol office on a hybrid basis.

What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end grant lifecycle, from project selection and contracting to implementation and closure.
- Oversee portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with FCDO expectations and robust risk management.
- Provide strategic leadership and line management to a team of three Regional Activity Managers and a Contracts Manager.
- Act as the product owner for programme management systems, ensuring data quality and driving continuous improvement.
- Facilitate cross-regional learning and knowledge exchange through the global activity community of practice.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships, including FCDO HQ, regional teams, and implementing partners.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in programme delivery, grant management, and portfolio oversight.
- Proven track record in complex donor-funded or publicly funded programmes.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with Power BI and information management platforms.
- Commitment to neutrality and diplomacy in stakeholder dealings.
