What you will do
- Perform hands-on laboratory work including molecular biology, biochemical assays, cell culture, and animal studies.
- Independently troubleshoot experiments and optimize research protocols.
- Generate, analyze, and interpret data using statistical tools while maintaining accurate experimental records.
- Present research findings clearly in team meetings and cross-functional forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project progress.
- Contribute to study design and research new in vitro and in vivo models.
Requirements
- B.S. with 2+ years or M.S. with 0-2+ years of relevant academic or industry experience.
- Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with cell culture, RNA/DNA extraction, and RT-qPCR.
- Experience with protein analysis techniques such as Western blot and ELISA/MSD.
- Proficiency in rodent handling and tissue collection methods.
- Ability to perform statistical analyses using software like GraphPad Prism.
Nice to have
- Scientific background in muscle biology or genetics of disorders like DMD and DM1.
- Experience working with primary or immortalized myoblasts, myotubes, or 3D myobundles.
- Familiarity with in vitro or in vivo assays relevant to muscle physiology.
