Salary: Base pay $75,029 - $85,748 per year (Total compensation up to $104,322)

What you will do

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments and assays under senior guidance.
• Apply analytical and computational methodologies to analyze scientific results.
• Present findings through verbal group meetings and internal written reports.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of experimental details and results.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement lab and bioinformatic workflows.
• Contribute to the organization and maintenance of the R&D laboratory.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Bioengineering, Molecular and Cell Biology, Microbiology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of research experience.
• Extensive experience with PCR, electrophoresis, and DNA purifications.
• High mathematical and statistical aptitude.
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Menlo Park, CA.

Nice to have

• Startup experience.
• Knowledge of medical genetics or experience in a cell-free DNA setting.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation.
• Proficiency in computational analysis using R, Python, or other programming languages.
