Salary: $119,700 - $133,200 USD

What you will do

• Develop and execute territory capture plans for a portfolio of 3–5 states, including ICP identification and political context mapping.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with 8–12 key state agency stakeholders per territory.
• Self-generate outbound materials, capability summaries, and demo assets using AI-native tools.
• Lead discovery sessions and technical workshops to shape procurement requirements before RFPs are released.
• Coordinate with internal teams to surface opportunity signals and develop winning pursuit strategies.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and state-level events.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in a client-facing, capture, or business development role within the public sector or civic tech.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Must reside in one of the approved states listed in the location section.
• Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with technical buyers like state CIOs and agency architects.
• Active user of AI tools for research, writing, and asset generation.
• Working knowledge of state government operations and programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, or UI.

Nice to have

• Experience with product-led go-to-market motions and POC design.
• Familiarity with Shipley or similar capture methodologies.
• Existing network within geographic priority states (NY, CA, CO, MA, VA, NJ, MN, PA).
