Salary: $135,000 – $175,000

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end monthly and quarterly close process, including the close calendar, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operational accounting team to scale with the business.
• Standardize reconciliations and streamline workflows to drive a faster, higher-quality close.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Strengthen internal controls and documentation in alignment with SOX and public company expectations.
• Drive process improvement and automation using ERP capabilities, BI tooling, and AI solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• Demonstrated ownership of the monthly and quarterly close process.
• Proven experience in people leadership and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX-aware environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Boston, MA

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with modern ERPs like NetSuite.
• Experience implementing process automation or AI-driven solutions in accounting workflows.
