What you will do

• Own the identification, documentation, and accounting analysis of embedded leases within complex contractual arrangements under ASC 842.
• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, FP&A, and Procurement to assess the accounting implications of new and amended contracts.
• Prepare analytics and supporting schedules for lease-related P&L accounts.
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures.
• Drive improvements to lease accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to export control regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a publicly traded company.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and specific experience with ASC 842.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience evaluating embedded leases within complex service or network agreements.

Nice to have

• Experience with lease accounting software like CoStar Real Estate Manager.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
• Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience.
• Background in high-growth technology, cloud, or infrastructure sectors.
