What you will do

• Lead the accounting function to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, managing the general ledger and balance sheet integrity.
• Manage all external audit activities, including planning, technical memos, and direct communication with auditors.
• Oversee complex accounting for inventory, cost of revenue, fixed assets, and manufacturing variances.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure audit readiness.
• Mentor accounting staff and drive continuous improvement in close efficiency and NetSuite usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience applying US GAAP in complex areas.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Teaneck, NJ office.
• Advanced experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Proven ability to manage and develop accounting staff.
