Salary: $216K - $240K USD + Equity

What you will do

• Lead technical accounting analysis for complex, judgmental, and non-routine transactions under U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with Controllership, Tax, Legal, FP&A, Procurement, and Infrastructure teams to assess accounting implications of new products and arrangements.
• Translate technical accounting conclusions into practical operational guidance, including journal entries and control requirements.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda and position papers for management, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance hirify.global’s technical accounting framework and internal policies.
• Design and implement scalable processes to support evolving business activities and organizational growth.

Requirements

• CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in technology company environments.
• Prior experience in a public accounting firm at a manager or senior manager level.
• Strong foundation in US GAAP, specifically expertise in financial instruments, consolidation, and lease accounting.
• Ability to manage high-velocity, cross-functional teams on impactful projects.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days in the office per week in San Francisco, CA.
