What you will do

• Design and build product features for remote development in self-hosted environments.
• Develop and maintain the AI Gateway (LLM gateway) and Agent Firewall to ensure audit trails and security.
• Create and improve open-source projects that integrate with VS Code, JetBrains, and other developer tools.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams, as well as external partners like JetBrains, on key integrations.
• Harden security boundaries and support hirify.global’s enterprise user base alongside Customer Success teams.
• Document system design and operations for internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 8+ years of professional full-stack experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience writing Go, ideally in your current or most recent role.
• Proficiency in building distributed systems in Go.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with a creative and analytical mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and React.
• Background in developer tooling, platform engineering, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Curiosity about latest technology trends in the developer tools ecosystem.
