What you will do

• Design and ship full-stack features across React web portals and Spring backend services.
• Develop versioned RESTful APIs to surface sensor data, vessel telemetry, and AI detection outputs.
• Architect and evolve microservices on AWS to ensure reliability and low latency.
• Optimize PostGIS queries for map rendering, time-series analysis, and bulk artifact retrieval.
• Build internal tools for operations teams to monitor and support deployed sensor units.
• Collaborate with design to implement pixel-precise UI components for data-dense map views.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong command of React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid backend experience with Spring Boot and REST API design at scale.
• Hands-on experience with PostGIS and performant database schema design.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with microservices, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with geospatial data and mapping libraries like Mapbox, Leaflet, or Deck.gl.
• Familiarity with WebSockets or SSE for real-time updates.
• Background in defense, maritime, or government software.
• Experience integrating ML model outputs into user-facing features.
