What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement highly performant user experiences for hirify.global Issues and Projects.
• Solve complex scaling and UX problems to enable deeper Copilot integration into project management tools.
• Write and maintain production code primarily in JavaScript (React, TypeScript) and Ruby (Rails).
• Author architecture briefs and proposals to ensure systems achieve planetary scale.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster the growth of other engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leads to define and prioritize technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of senior-level experience with React.
• Proven track record of maintaining and delivering production software.
• Strong communication skills essential for collaborating within a distributed team.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with modern web stacks (Rails, Go, React, MySQL, GraphQL).
• Experience working remotely as part of a distributed software engineering team.
