TL;DR

HR Manager (Fintech): Leading and managing all aspects of HR for the US employee population with an accent on employment law, compliance, and HR operations. Focus on overseeing payroll, benefits administration via PEO, and maintaining data integrity within HRIS.

Location: Remote (USA) - must be based in Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Time (CT) zones.

Salary: $75,000+ USD

What you will do

  • Act as the primary SME for US HR processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Lead the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding (I-9/E-Verify) and a coordinated offboarding process.
  • Oversee US benefits administration and 401(k) plans, partnering with the Global Payroll Manager for accuracy.
  • Lead formal employee relations cases, including the creation and management of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Maintain HRIS (HiBob) data integrity and continuously update the US employee handbook and policy framework.
  • Partner with global HR colleagues to deliver US-specific insights and align practices with global priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience with strong knowledge of US HR laws.
  • Must be located in the Eastern Standard Time or Central Time zones.
  • Proven experience working with PEOs, with ADP TotalSource strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience in 401(k) plan administration.
  • Strong HRIS experience focusing on data integrity and process optimization (HiBob preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Nice to have

  • HR certification such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
